Tahid’s potential is obvious, and admiring glances are expected to be shot in his direction. The youngster is in no rush to make a move away from homeland, but is setting big targets when it comes to his long-term career path.
Tahid has told of wanting to head for north London at some stage – with Germany and Spain also on his career wish list: “My five-year plan is to be at a team like Arsenal, but I’d also consider Real Madrid or Borussia Dortmund.”
Tahid is now tied to a contract in Vancouver and has been backed to reach “the highest level of the global game” by his current boss Afshin Ghotbi. His feet remain firmly planted on the ground for now, but it may be that a Premier League dream becomes reality at some point.
